No, not from us, but from Jordensky, the awesome little Haitian boy we sponsor through Compassion. I thought I'd start sharing the letters he writes (as well as ones from Bernice) since they are so touching. The letters from him are written by his mother and translated so there's a bit lost in the translation. This is actually the first we have heard from him since the devastating earthquake. We wrote a bunch of letters and had no idea how he was doing! Needless to say, this letter was such a great present to us today!
"Ky Ky" greets you in the precious name of the Lord. He and his family are very well by the grace of the Master. How are you and your family? He is doing very well in school, even though there was an earthquake that hit the country, Haiti, God protected him and his family, and that caused school got stopped, and started in the first week of February. He got his passing in the first term, and he is waiting for the result for the 2nd term. He had a good Christmas. He took part in a program with his parents on December 31. The service was done at 4am in January 1st. He thanks you for the christmas gift, he added on it and bought shoes to go church. He thanks you for your prayers. He thanks you for the picture. He loves you very much, and keeps the picture in his school bag. He asks you to pray for his mother who is suffering from diabetes. Pray for his school and for his country. What do you love to do? He hopes God will bless you more every day.
How incredible is he? Please pray for him, his mother, and his country! Yay Jordensky!
