I just love when Scott invites me to his golf tournaments that are in great places. January, Palm Springs, today - Pismo Beach. Apparently, this is the Bakersfield getaway and before I could say that I have never been here (and thus, making it seem like i'm not totally Bakersfield-y.) But all that has changed.
Scott's fashion this morning going to get cinnamon rolls. I wasn't embarrassed one bit.
Last weekend, there was an incredible water fight in our courtyard between our landlord and our neighbor. Trust me, this was the best place we could have been! Augustus wanted to see what was going on, or just wanted to get outside and jump down three stories... either way, he's adventurous.

That is a pretty big step in becoming more of a "Bakersfield-ian". ;)
i really liked it! our hotel was pretty ghetto, but i loved the rustic quality of the storefronts and beach areas. It feels old and super beachy.
