Scott and I sponsor now 2 children through Compassion. We've been able to touch two lives of two wonderful children though sponsoring. We have been given abundant gifts from God and have been so convicted to share with these children. We are blessed beyond our means and pray that our giving blesses them in return.
JORDENSKY
We sponsored Jordensky in November. He's from a small area in Haiti that was quite far from the epicenter of the horrible January earthquake, however, we haven't heard if he is ok or not. As the media portrays, Haiti is extremely poor and the children need all the help we can give them. Jordensky loves school and through the letters we've received from him, he sounds as though he has the drive to achieve great things. He is almost 8 years old, regularly goes to church and loves to play hide-and-seek. We can't wait to hear back from him, to make sure he and his family are alright, and to see what's new in his life.
BERNICE
Tonight we decided that we should sponsor another child. I started searching compassion's site and found Bernice. She stood out to me because she is so precious, lives with only her mother, living in a HIV/AIDs infected area, and isn't attending school. My prayer for her is that through this sponsorship she will be able to attend school, remain safe and healthy and reach for her dreams. She loves to play house and group games, is 5 years old, and lives in Ghana. We're excited to get to know her more and help her in any way we can.
